Meet the Team
Meral Merve Şeker Yalım
Founder – Chef

I completed my undergraduate studies in the Department of Architecture at Mimar Sinan University and pursued a master’s degree in Restoration at the same university. For 10 years, I worked as an architect in various architecture firms, both full-time and as a freelancer. In 2020, I underwent culinary and management training at USLA. I completed a culinary internship at Od Urla. In late 2022, together with Umut Yalım, we founded Buffett, where we continue to work passionately.
Umut Yalım
Founder of Galeri Bu – Artist

I am Umut Yalım, born in Istanbul on August 19, 1984. I attended Saint Benoit French High School (1995 – 2003) and pursued my undergraduate studies in Fine Arts at Chelsea College of the Arts (2003-2007). I obtained my master’s degree in Book Arts at Camberwell College of Art & Design in London (2007-2008).
Currently, I operate Galeri Bu, an art gallery in Istanbul, Turkey. I like to label myself as an anti-artist and anti-poet, shaping my works in this direction.
Hatice Güner
Chef

I graduated from the Department of Tourism Management at Akdeniz University. I underwent long-term professional Culinary Arts training at the Usla International Service & Flavor Academy.
Throughout my educational journey, I worked in various large hotels and completed an internship at Radisson Blu Bosphorus Hotel. I continue my career as a chef at Buffett.
